Hello, fellow sleuthers and readers!
Officially posting this just before midnight… (Better late than never! ๐ )
March 1st marks the beginning of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, and I want to extend a warm and heartfelt greeting to all of you. This month is a time for us to shine a light on the diverse experiences of individuals living with cerebral palsy, to celebrate our resilience, and to advocate for a more inclusive and understanding world.
As many of you know, my own journey with cerebral palsy has shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for sharing stories through my “Wheelchair Detective” series. This month, Iโm committed to using this platform to raise awareness and honor those whose lives have been touched by CP.
In the coming week or so, I will be writing about the heartbreaking story of Cristina Pangalangan, the 12-year-old girl who tragically passed away after being left in a hot car.
Cristina was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and her story is a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by individuals with disabilities and the critical need for vigilance and support. I hope that by sharing her story, we can honor her memory and work towards preventing similar tragedies.
This month, let’s come together to educate, support, and celebrate the strength and spirit of the cerebral palsy community.
Stay tuned for my upcoming post on Cristina Pangalangan.
Until next time, Jennifer, AKA “Wheelchair Detective”!
